About PunkRecords

PunkRecords is an independent archive of real science and imagined worlds: sourced stories on AI, physics, space and technology, plus Ether, our section for anime and manga. We explain what changed, why it matters and what is still uncertain.

Our standards

• Sourced. Every factual claim is checked against a primary source or reputable reporting, and each story lists its sources at the end.
• Clear about uncertainty. Preliminary results, preprints and company claims are labelled as such.
• Transparent about tools. We use AI tools for research and editing. When a tool we used is part of a story, we say so.
• Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change.
